Sands of Bolivar turned out to be unique in many ways. Mainly, R.M.O. had its first baptism! Mr. Bryan Roller was led by the spirit of God on our last outing (O.S.C.) to request a baptism by immersion supporting a previous decision to follow Jesus as Lord & Savior. It's no secret that the event did not go as smoothly as planned due to the Bolivar Ferry ride. But, we all did finally arrive and had a great time regardless. We camped out on the beach, fished in the surf, we learned a lot about saltwater fishing & had some good discussions around the campfire. Rest assured we will never have another outing where a ferry ride is involved!
